The scholastic
bowl team particpates in the Lincoln Trail Conference meets.
Meets begin in January and run through March, culminating with the
Lincoln Trail Conference Tournament. This year's tournament will be
hosted by Stark County. The 2007 tournament will be hosted by
United. Meets, which consist of a series of 3 team matches,
are held every Thursday after school with 9-10 schools participating.
Questions cover all academic and vocational areas, and include current
events. United has a varsity and junior varsity team, with each team
rotating players in weekly, as only 5 team members can compete during a
match. A highlight of the season is the Aledo Tournament, which
is an all day Saturday event featuring competition from teams in and
around the area.
