Some Great Ways to Support our Students
There are three fundraisers that will be coming up this month:
- Show What You Know! On Feb. 13, 'Trivia Night', an After-Prom fundraiser, will be held at the American Legion. Form an 8 member team and give your brain some exercise. Doors open at 5:30, with the first question being read at 6:30. The cost is $10/team member. All ages are welcome!
- Cookies Anyone? Beginning Feb. 22, the Music Department will be selling butter braids and cookie dough. These yummy items can be purchased from a 5th-12th grade music student, or by calling the high school and asking for the Music Department.
- Are you into 'getting physical'? Form a team and participate in the Dodgeball Tournament, a softball program fundraiser, that will be held on Feb. 27 at the high school. There will be 3 divisions: Junior High, High School, and Open. Registration is $50/team. For more information, contact Hannah Baker at 734-9411, or Gary Eyler at 734-8511
Computer Systems for Sale!!
The United School District has some computer systems for sale. The system consists of a CPU, monitor, keyboard and mouse. The cost is $50. The computers feature the ubuntu operating system and come with Internet access, a word processing suite and many games. This would make a great machine for your child, or a second family machine.
A special 'thanks' to the High School's Advanced Computer Programming II class for getting these machines ready for sale.
